The best option for a new student is to choose college residence in order to ensure a successful academic year. Living on campus housing helps ease the transition to college life. The residence halls are where a lot of the socializing takes place on campus. Residence has lots of advantages such as no utilities to pay, no bathrooms to clean, close proximity to classes, and usually some form of security. Moreover, you'll live with other students who have the same interests, needs and goals. You'll meet people who will make your college life pleasant and memorable. It is actually the easiest way to adjust to the new environment. To conclude, Humber residences provide an opportunity for independent living within a safe, secure and supportive environment.

However, some students prefer off-campus housing. Most of those students choose shares accommodation as it is less costly, that is, a room in a house or apartment where rent, facilities, and duties are shared through a co-operative arrangement with others. In such cases as well, Humber helps students to find appropriate places by putting ads in the international office. In addition, there are websites available such as places4students.com which is one of the most trusted and reliable websites to hunt for apartment.
